The Concours d’Elegance 2022
This year we were finally able to celebrate classic cars after three years of Covid-19. Due to the delay of the event. the quality of the participating cars was exquisite. That definitely made the decision for Best of Show and Best of category very difficult for the judges.
The Best of Show of 2022 is a Bugatti Type 57C Stelvio Cabriolet Speciale from 1937 owned by Jaap Braam Ruben. The junior judges also chose this beauty as their junior Best of Show.
This year we have a few extra’s from the organisation such as the Club Concours day on the Friday. This is a day dedicated to the fanatic car clubs in the Netherlands where these clubs had their own category in the concours e.g. Porsche or Aston Martin. We participated with our beautiful Aston Martin DBS in the Aston Martin category.
Furthermore, our colleague Emma was invited this year to be part of the junior judges which she very much enjoyed. Her categories were Gentleman’s sportscars of the 50s and 60s and 1000 Miglia
It is always wonderful to see the dedication and passion participators have with classic cars which we all share at this event.
