An Unforgettable Rally for Classic Car Enthusiasts

This past October, S2 Classic Cars proudly sponsored and participated in the prestigious Coppa Franco Mazzotti 2024, an event that brings together the most beautiful classic cars and passionate owners for an unforgettable drive. This year, we participated with six stunning vehicles: a Ferrari 365GT 2+2, Ferrari 365GTC4, Porsche 356 SC Coupé, Volvo Amazon, Aston Martin DB5, and an Alfa Romeo 1900CSS. The rally offered not only the chance to enjoy unique landscapes but also to create new memories and experience a weekend filled with automotive passion.

A well-organized rally experience

At S2 Classic Cars, we believe that good preparation is essential for the ultimate driving pleasure. That’s why we provided extensive services for our clients and cars. We arranged transport with special closed trailers to ensure the cars were delivered safely and securely to Italy. Our tracking system allowed the owners to follow their vehicles at any time, providing extra peace of mind. We also took care of registration and hotel accommodation. We stayed at the Villa Cortine Palace Hotel in Sirmione, an exclusive hotel with excellent parking facilities for our classics. The hotel, located in the picturesque Sirmione, ensured a stay that truly belongs on the bucket list.

Starting in the picturesque Sirmione

The rally began in the idyllic Sirmione on Lake Garda, a town known for its narrow streets, historic castles, and thermal baths. Here, the adventure started with a parade of classic cars driving through the streets, while onlookers watched in admiration. Our six cars drew a lot of attention, not only because of their beauty but also because of their impressive state of maintenance.

Stunning routes through the Dolomites and along Lake Iseo

The Coppa Franco Mazzotti 2024 guaranteed a number of breathtaking routes. One of the highlights was the journey through the Dolomites, where the challenging climb and steep descent with sections as steep as 30% were a true test for both drivers and cars. But the view was worth every effort. The autumn colors gave the landscape a magical glow, perfectly captured by one participant’s reaction: “This is the definition of autumn.”

Along the way, we passed the magnificent Lake Iseo, where the morning mist gradually lifted and the sun made the water glisten. It was a moment of pure magic that gave participants goosebumps. The drive through the Gorge near Boario Terme also offered spectacular views and was a delight for both drivers and spectators.

Rain on Saturday, sunshine on Sunday

The weather added an extra dimension to the experience. On Saturday, we drove through some rain, which presented an additional challenge on the winding mountain roads, but our cars performed exceptionally well, showing why they belong to the top of the classic car world. Fortunately, Sunday cleared up, and we were occasionally treated to bright sunshine.

Finish at the military base in Ghedi

The finish line was at the military base in Ghedi, where all cars completed the entire rally without any problems. The finish at the base gave a special sense of accomplishment and provided a spectacular end to the event. It was wonderful to see how our classic cars not only stole the show but also handled the technical challenges of the rally with flying colors.

Unforgettable moments and a fantastic atmosphere

In addition to driving, there was also time to enjoy Italian hospitality. The dinners were of a high culinary standard, and conversations with fellow participants were inspiring and full of passion for classic cars. One thing was clear: the Coppa Franco Mazzotti is more than just a rally – it is a celebration of the love for classic cars and life itself.
