Ferrari 330GT 2+2 serie 2

Ferrari 330GT 2+2 serie 2

Enzo Ferrari sought to update his lucrative Grand Touring coupé lineup, which led to the creation of the Ferrari 330 GT. The Ferrari 330 GT was intended as the successor to Enzo’s legendary and long-running 250 series. Although Ferrari’s primary focus was on racing cars, it was the sale of road models to wealthy, demanding customers that financed his efforts. This unbalanced relationship became evident when the hood of the first 330, known as the 330 America, was lifted.

The unheard-of Tipo 209 V-12 engine displaced 330 cubic centimeters per cylinder (hence the car’s name). The 12 cylinders were fed by a trio of Weber 40 DCZ/6 carburetors. The first series of the 330 GT was launched with dual headlights on each side, with a total production run of 625 units.

The more desirable Series II was introduced later and came standard with a five-speed gearbox. Only 455 units were produced in total, making this model a true collector’s item.

This Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II is in immaculate condition, having been perfectly restored several years ago. It has recently undergone some mechanical work and has been restored to its original Ferrari specifications.

The car features new leather on both the front and rear seats and retains its original dashboard, radio, and tools.
