Get the maximum power from your car
Would you like to know how your classic car is performing? Or would you like an indication of the condition of your car’s engine? Do you suspect that your car is underperforming as a result of new fuels? We can do a power test under simulated road conditions.
With the power test on the dynameter we can measure the composition of the exhaust gases and give an indication about the functioning of the carburetors, the ignition and the mechanical condition of the engine. We can also make the ignition images visible during the test on our Bosch motor
tester to discover any malfunctions.
This test will not put more strain on your car than on a normal road, but it does provide an excellent opportunity to diagnose malfunctions that normally only occur sporadically at specific speeds or load combinations.
If the test shows that everything functions properly, but you would some extra power, we will be happy to advise you on the steps and options to follow. You can also have this performed by us.
Our Prices
For the first test drive, including Lambda measurement, we charge a fee of € 195 (incl. VAT). This includes a report of the test and an initial diagnosis of possible improvements.
After this first test, a fee of € 160 per hour (incl. VAT) applies for making improvements based on the diagnosis.
After these 2 hours, a fee of €135 per hour applies for implementing the improvements based on the diagnosis, including again Lambda measurements and extra runs if necessary.
If your vehicle is on our test bench for half a day, we charge a total of € 650 (incl. VAT).
If your vehicle is on our test bench for a whole day, we charge a total of € 1,150 (incl. VAT).
Both include a report of initial test results and subsequent improvements, as well as day/half day Lambda test results.
These prices do not include parts required for the improvements based on the diagnosis of the test run(s).
For other repairs to your old-timer or young-timer, you can contact our restoration specialist. Our hourly rate is € 82,50 per hour (excl. VAT).
