This magnificent Ferrari 365 GTC/4 was sold new in Milan Italy by M.G. Crepaldi Automobili. Around 1980 the car was shipped to the USA where the car has known several owners (also dealers) in Ohio, Georgia, and California until 1993. In the early 1990s the original brown metallic body colour, Marrone Colorado (2.443.221), was changed to black. In 1993 the Ferrari was listed for sale in ‘concours condition’ and sold to Japan where the car resided with one owner until 2003. Then the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 found a new owner in Queensland Australia. Arriving in Australia the odometer was reading 71.000 kilometres. At some point in time the Australian owner had the Ferrari professionally painted in the current Ferrari red colour. On 30 September 2014 the automobile was purchased by the current owner, a Ferrari collector in the Netherlands. Then the odometer read 93.605 kilometres.

Current condition

The Dutch owner has enjoyed this wonderful Ferrari on local outings and during the Italian Coppa Franco Mazzotti in 2022 and 2024. From December 2014 until May 2025 the car has driven just over 7000 kilometres, the odometer currently reads 00314 kilometres.

This gorgeous Ferrari 356 GTC/4 is in a superb optical condition and the mechanicals are in a very good and very well-maintained condition. The interior is in excellent condition and believed to be fully original as supplied new in 1972. Only slight signs of previous use and age can be found. All the mechanicals are original and / or repaired with original parts. The gearbox and the differential were replaced in the past with correct specification Ferrari parts. Currently the car is fitted with wonderful Borrani wire wheels with aluminium rims, the original Cromodora alloy wheels are present and come with the car. Currently a red painted front bumper is installed because of the better looks, the correct black front bumper is with the car. Upon import to the Netherlands the correct European Carello headlamps were refitted.

This Ferrari 365 GTC/4 features a 5-speed manually operated gearbox, air-conditioning and a 1970s Becker Mexico Cassette Stereo radio. Original tool bag is present and a digital 365 GTC/4 operating, maintenance and service handbook (PDF).

The Ferrari 365GTC/4

The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is a magnificent 2+2 GT based upon the mechanical platform of the 365 GTB/4. The GTC features a slightly longer wheelbase, the same chassis and suspension layout, the same but slightly detuned 4.4 Litre Colombo V12 engine with a lower engine speed and more torque. This ‘civilized everyday version’ of the GTB is a Ferrari masterpiece blending high-performance sports car dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a 2+2 coupé. The 365 GTC/4 is a rare collector’s item, only 505 examples were built in 1971 and 1972. This highly desirable example comes with a good history file (See the bullet point summary below), a FIVA identity card (2024) and a Ferrari Classiche certificate.
