Coachbuilding
Our team has a lot of experience with sheet metal working, which makes this sheet metal workshop one of the top segments in the world. We have original machines with which we can process steel or aluminum. With this, fenders, bumpers, petrol tanks and even complete bodies can be beaten or rolled with the so-called English wheel.
From 1887, the gas welding technique was used in the production of cars. We still use this original technique. Each project requires a unique set of knowledge and skills, which are applied in a careful manner.
For each project we look into the details of how the car manufacturer built the car originally. We try to rebuild your classic into this original condition with uttermost precision. Our goal is to keep as much of the old chassis and renew where it is necessary.

We have certified car mechanics with a wide range of knowledge and who are full of passion. We have knowledge of multiple car models and have years of experience in restoring classic vehicles.
From overhauling the engine, mechanical processing to drilling and grinding; everything happens in house. This is to ensure that the quality and appearance of the engine is kept as close as possible to its original condition. We have a few examples below with the possibilities for your classic car.
During a restoration we often come across that the after-market parts that are still available however they may be of a lower quality and/or fit poorly. With our lathe and milling machine we can adjust the parts and make them as good as how they should be.
A wiring harness falls under the electrical part of a car. The wiring harness used to be braided with textile, but nowadays this is done with PVC. Do you prefer a wiring harness in its original condition or with PVC? Both options are possible with us.
We are also able to measure the ignition distributors with the help of our ignition test bench and by changing the weights and springs we can adjust the characteristic. This allows us to optimize the engine’s power.
Would you like to have the modern comfort or driving experience in your classic car? We can do this by upgrading and/or renewing the brakes, power steering, and engine block. During this process we respect the originality of the car.
Restoration
We are able to provide your with a fully restored classic car as we have the combination of a technique and coachbuilding work shop under one roof. Our workshops work closely together so we can achieve your desired outcome of the restoration.
With our expertise, we can also provide recommendations on what will best suit the car. This can, for example, be done by respecting the originality of the car or by giving the car more comfort or performance.
Dynameter
Would you like to know how your classic car is performing? Or would you like an indication of the condition of your car’s engine? Do you suspect that your car is underperforming as a result of new fuels? We can do a power test under simulated road conditions.
Detailing
Detailing: The word says it all. It is polishing your car including all of the nooks and cranny’s. Here, it is all about the details. Depending on the condition of the paint, your car will be virtually scratch-free in 1 or 2 polishing steps. A protective layer is then applied by means of wax.
The interior is carefully cleaned with the right tools, whereby we restore the vehicle to its original condition as much as possible. When we’re finished, it’s like your car comes out of the showroom brand new.
Transport
Do you have a rally abroad or need transportation for another purpose? And you don’t want to worry about whether your car will reach its destination safely?
The S2 Classic Cars team has multiple means of transport and the right logistics capabilities to transport your car safely to the relevant location.
Join an event
Event services
The goal when entering and participating in an event is to be able to have no worries concerning whether the car will do what it needs to do. To make sure you will snatch the prize or reach the finish line, you will need to trust your car. Therefore, we recommend that you get your car checked before the event, so you are prepared.
Our team knows exactly what needs to be checked and working well for the event you are participating in. Are you going to drive a tour rally? We will check for example your brakes, fluids, any leakages, etc. and do test drives so you will not have big surprises during the tour rally. Do you have a car show such as the Concours d’Élegance? We can fully polish your car so it will outshine the others. But also we will check if it will start smoothly and fulfils the judges wishes in among other things the originality of the car.
