Wheels at Mariënwaerdt 2025
Our Weekend at Wheels at Mariënwaerdt 2025
For the third year in a row, we had our stand at Wheels at Mariënwaerdt, and what a wonderful weekend it was, full of classic cars, great conversations, and enthusiastic visitors. Friday got off to a promising start: the grounds quickly filled with car enthusiasts and the sun made for a perfect opening day. On Saturday the weather held until about three o’clock, when heavy rain started pouring down. We were just in time to get the tonneaus and tops on all the cars to keep them dry. Together with a few visitors and colleagues, we sought shelter in the tent – which turned out to be surprisingly cosy. On Sunday, the event wrapped up with another lively day and plenty of interest in our collection.
1000 Miglia Theme
This year, our stand was all about the 1000 Miglia. Recently, we have added several 1000 Miglia-eligible cars to our collection, and we wanted to highlight our service team that supports cars participating in this legendary rally every year. To bring this to life, we showcased a selection of special cars – some that had previously participated, some that are available for purchase, and others that can even be rented for the event. Along the hedge of our stand, we hung a beautiful banner from the 2025 edition near the finish line, which immediately brought the atmosphere of the famous rally to life.
The stories behind the cars made this theme extra special – from the Swallow Doretti that participated in 2019 to the Bristol 400 that joined in 2024 and 2025, and the Alfa Romeo 1900CSS that is available for future participants to charter. We also brought along a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190SL and a 1957 Triumph TR3, both 1000 Miglia-eligible and waiting for their new owners to take them on the adventure of a lifetime.
Restoration Project and Collection
In addition to these rally icons, we also displayed one of our ongoing restoration projects: a Nash Healey Pininfarina Series 2. Showing a car in this stage of transformation is always special, as it allows visitors to truly appreciate what it takes to bring a classic back to top condition.
We also brought several other cars from our sales collection, including a Porsche 911 Carrera 993, a Ferrari 246GT Dino, and a Volkswagen Beetle Champagne Edition 2. We presented our Maserati Mistral and Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 – premieres for our collection that already received a lot of attention. For those interested, feel free to email us; both cars will be featured on our website by the end of September or beginning of October.
Concours d’Élegance and Junior Jury
One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing Emma in action as a junior jury member. She spent the entire weekend helping to judge the concours and, together with the other junior jury members, selected a stunning 1949 Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Coupé Jean Barou as “Junior Best of Show.” It was fantastic to see her so engaged in the judging process and to watch her passion for classic cars grow.
Thank You
Wheels at Mariënwaerdt 2025 was a weekend full of memories, special encounters, and beautiful classics. We are always inspired by how people admire the history, craftsmanship, and stories behind these cars. As always, we leave the event with new ideas, new contacts, and even more motivation to preserve and share these automotive icons.
A big thank you to the organisers – we cannot wait to see what next year will bring!
