This delightful MG Midget MK III “split bumper” model was sold new in Germany in July 1970 and imported to the Netherlands in May 2001. Over the last 23 years the car has known five enthusiast owners. The last owner regretfully damaged the bodywork in a moment of inattention. The car was purchased by S2 Classic Cars, in 2023 the sheet metal was repaired, and the body was restored in our workshop. The car was repainted in the original colour. Furthermore, the car was brought up to date (inclusive the fitment of a new rear axle) and extensively serviced.

The 62 bhp 1275 cc MG A-series engine runs beautifully, and the exhaust note is sporty but never tiring. The compact interior offers ample space for a driver of up to 6 feet (185 cm) tall. The car is fitted with Minilite style alloy wheels sporting dark grey metallic painted centres and spokes, original headrests, a sports steering wheel with leather rim, a radio console with period correct radio and speaker, K&N sports air-filters, and an aluminium rocker cover.

This MG Midget MK3 looks wonderful, and it drives delightfully. A wonderful find for the person or couple loving the British drive- and lifestyle!
